Medlir: at a glance...** Warning, this page is cheesy, I wrote it a long time ago and am too lazy at the moment to edit the entire page and bring the tone down, so deal with it. ;) Physical Stats:I am 18 year old male who lives lives in Olivet, Michigan, USA. I'm five foot 10 inches tall and weigh about 175 pounds. I have some decent pics on-line now! Go to my Pictures Page to see them! I am currently going to college in Terre Haute, Indiana @ Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. ...Biking...I love biking! I used to ride my bike to school everyday weather permitting, even though I had a truck to drive. I got rid of the truck and have a car now... it's a silver 1989 5-speed manual Probe GT... sunroof too... I love my car. :) I should have a pic of it up soon too... it's one of the "before Mr. Whitetail's visit" shots... so it doesn't have a black door, black headlight, and bent hood in the pic. :P Back to my biking... I used to ride anywhere and everywhere, but haven't had much time lately... not to mention it's winter. :P When it's nice out though, and I have time, I ride more than 35 miles some nights... I've gotten home well after dark more than once.
..Books and Lit...I also loves to read! I read mainly Sci-Fi/Fantasy, but will try almost anything once. One of my favorite authors is Robert Jordan. I have read all eight books in his Wheel of Time series so far, and am anxiously awaiting number nine like everyone else. :) I also like Janny Wurts' Wars of Light and Shadow series, from which the name Medlir originates. L.E. Modesitt, Jr. is also a good author I think, and I have read 4 out of the 5 books in the Recluce series. Recently, I discovered I like Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series very much; I read all three books in the series in half a month. I've also started reading David Eddings' Belgariad after being introduced to it by a friend earlier this year. I also read classic authors like Anne McCaffrey, Tolkien, Orwell, and others. I like Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt books too....BCAMSC...BCAMSC stands for the Battle Creek Area Math and Science Center. I went there every afternoon for Math/Sciene classes in High School, and I loved it! Since there were lots of people from tons of schools in 3 counties, I've made friends all over. One cool thing is that the place is 45 minutes away... which makes for good homework/nap time on the bus! And for those of you I know on IRC, you know I need a nap after how late I'm on! :P The Center is cool though, you can trust people, and leave your locker open, or even just stack your bag and stuff in front of your locker... and no one will mess with it. ...IRC...IRC...must not forget IRC! IRC is cool, and I spend a lot of time on it, as a presence if not actually chatting. I spend so much time on IRC that I can easily be considered an addict, which is sad if you think about, but I'm happy. :P I've met lots of nice people on IRC, and just made an IRC friends and pics page.
