I've been on IRC for about two and a half years now, and I still love it!  I don't spend as much time there as I used to, but you can ask almost anyone on WarpedNet, and they'll tell you I'm there an awful lot, even when I'm not there...  Almost all my time is spent on WarpedNet though, which you can visit (if you are using a Java Enabled Browser) by following this link to the WarpedNet JavaIRC Page.  Or, another JavaIRC client I like to use can be found here.   Warped is a small net though (about 13 servers), but I, and everyone on it, love it for that reason.  :)  Like I said, I'm almost always on... in fact, I am on right now as I type this.  I am easy to find... I can usually be found in #Amiga for the random computer info I can pick up there, #ChatCafe, #ChatZone because I am a co-founder, #Friendly, #Insomnia, #Live because it's the home of WarpedRadio, #Speire because it's our local IRCop/admin channel, and #ThePark because Iknow the people and have been there since it was made.

     I also go to EFNet (irc.chat.org:6667) in #Two.Rivers, #Venus'Planet, and the teen channels... I'm a pic hound.  :P  I also visit DalNet (irc.dal.net) on a somewhat regular basis as well as UnderNet (irc.us.undernet.org).

     If you can download software, and want to try IRC, the two most popular IRC Clients for the Windows platform are Pirch and mIRC.  As far as I know, mIRC is the most widely used client... but as you can see, I put Pirch first... mainly because that's what I use, and love.  :)  I've converted several people.  :P

     Once you have downloaded a client, or if you already had one, come visit me and WarpedNet at irc.warped.net  If you find me, and send me a msg saying you found me from my home page, I might actually be nice to you.  ;)  hehe... just kidding... I'm not nice to anyone.  :P

     I have what I believe to be one of the most extensive server lists to be found, with over 100 nets in it.  I'm always updating and adding more and removing old ones (DragonNet RIP).  If you have any to be added, please email me!   Here's my list as of June 23rd, 1998... with 101 nets, and a bunch of odd servers.   It's a Pirch32 server list, but other ppl can download it and view it in any text viewer.  Note:  You may need to hold shift to download it.
