This is the least favorite of my on-line positions.  I got AIM way back when for the sole reason of talking to my few friends left on there from the days years past when I was an AOL member *shudder*.  Then, almost a year after I got it, multitudes of my less computer-savvy friends popped up on their... they must not have known there were alternatives.  ;)  So now I have this giant AIM list also, and am now having problems with it not letting me add any more people.  Who knew?   I tolerate AIM though, and run it almost always as an accessory to ICQ.  I must say, I wonder if there will be an ICQ/AIM merge in the future... as soon as AOL bought ICQ, they added color support *shudder again* to the messages in ICQ just like AIM, and now they just added file send/receive capabilities to AIM... sooner or later it seems they'll reach a middle ground and phase out one or the other.  I'm really not looking forward to seeing crappy little advertisements in ICQ though.  :(
