Well, this page is devoted to my computer systems and spare hardware. Right now, I have several computers, although they're all pretty crappy and none of them are really worth anything.  But alas, they are fun to tinker with.   So here they are, in order of value/usefullness.

The Family HP Pavilion
     The new family computer is an HP Pavilion something.  It has a 9G hard drive, 64M of RAM, running with a 450MHz Pentium II Celeron. It's pretty cool I guess, better than my laptop.  It of course has a 56K modem, fast CD-ROM drive, some other crap, nothing worth really mentioning.  Right now it has a crappy NE2000 compatible ISA NIC in it so me and bro can play multiplayer Quake2 against each other.

My Little Laptop
     I love my little laptop because it's the best computer I personally own. It's an Acer 710T that my previous college required me to buy (Oh darn!  :P).   It has a 233MHz Pentium II, 3.2G hard drive, and 96M of RAM.  I've tweaked it as best as I could and I think it runs pretty decently, although the installation of win98 a month ago was kind of a performance killer.  I have a Philips USB cam to hook to it, plus it came with a 56K LT WinModem, and a 3Com 3C589D PCMCIA network card.

Other Pieces of Junk Boxes
     I also own several POS boxes.  I have a 486DX/2 66MHz with a 540M hard drive and 64M of RAM.  If I had a RAM stacker thing, I could have 96M in there with spare 8M SIMM's I have, but alas.  When I go back to college, this will serve as a web server, maybe FTP server, and several other things.  It has a wonderfully slow 4x CD-ROM, a non-upgraded to 56K 33.6K modem from ZoomTelephonics, and when this fall comes, it will also have a network card.  Then I have a another crappy 486DX/2 66MHz with a 400-something meg hard drive, 12M of RAM, and nothing else to really mention.   Right now it has a new PnP ISA NIC in it, but this fall that will be coming out and going in my "good" 486, and the NIC that's in the good computer downstairs will be going in it instead.   The reason for this, is that this crappy computer will be going with my sister to college.  I also have two old 386's, one with a 80M hard drive, one with a 40M hard drive.  Do I hear WfW 3.11?  I think so.  Among my junk, there is also an old 286 running MS-DOS 6.22, WP 5.1 for DOS and not much else... this, my dad uses for a writing computer because he likes WP 5.1.  I also have a very old IBM Model 30 which I believe is an 8086, along with an Apple IIc and a C64 with a bad ROM chip somewhere.

Other Hardware
     I also have plenty of spare hardware, I recently bought two 365M hard drives.  One for each of the 486's.  I have another 400M or so hard drive, two spare 486 processors, three 8M EDO SIMM's, one 16M EDO SIMM, three keyboards, a 486 motherboard, several unknown ISA cards, a lonely 14.4K modem, a very lonely 2400bps modem, 2 old dot matrix printers, and whole crates of miscellaneous cables.
